Quick Union Crossovers and Adapters in an almost infinite number of configurations to suit every application. These items allow an operator to rig up a Lubricator String with dissimilar connections, either to permit a change of bore in the string – larger at the bottom and smaller at the top for example – or to connect to equipment with differing unions – customer wellhead caps for example.
Flanged Adapters primarily for connecting wireline Pressure Control Equipment to wellheads, or for connecting a flanged component within a string of Pressure Control Equipment. The most common configuration is with a union box at the top and an API 6A flange at the bottom. However, to connect flanged components – gate valves for example – within a lubricator string, a flange at the top with a union pin and collar at the bottom is available.
Positioned on top of the lubricator rig up, the Grease Injection Control Head is designed to contain well pressure whilst running braided cable into or out of the well. Available in a number of basic configurations. Each configuration offers operators a light weight and effective means of containing pressure.
Hydraulic Tool Traps are a safety device. Essentially a flapper type valve for tools, they are positioned just above the WLV and can be opened to allow tools to pass into the well. Once the tools have passed, the flapper can be closed, the milled slot though it allowing the wire to continue to move unhindered.
The liquid Seal Stuffing Box is used in conjunction with a conventional Hydraulic Slickline Stuffing Box, to give the primary seal on a slickline, maintaining pressure integrity when running into and out of the well.
This component is intended as a last-resort method of protecting the surface from the uncontrolled release of hydrocarbons. It is a cylindrical valve with either a ball or flapper closing mechanism. It is installed in the production tubing and is held in the open position by a high pressure hydraulic line from surface contained in a 6.35 mm (1/4") control line that is attached to the DHSV's hydraulic chamber and terminated at surface to an hydraulic actuator. The high pressure is needed to overcome the production pressure in the tubing upstream of the choke on the tree. The valve will operate if the umbilical HP line is cut or the wellhead/tree is destroyed.
The Cyclonic Wellhead Desander offers a robust high pressure solids management solution upstream of the choke manifold during well testing, frac-flowback and well clean-up operations. Cyclonic de-sanders have a high efficiency of separation at high flow-rates with minimal pressure drop and can handle both a wider range of particle sizes and larger volumes of solids when compared to sand filters. The cyclonic separator element is engineered from a highly wear-resistant alloy, is designed to be the only component potentially exposed to erosion and is simple to replace during operations if required.
The Heat Exchanger Standard is a skid-mounted steam vessel which contains a high pressure coil and choke through which the well stream can be diverted upstream of the separator. A separate steam generator supplies a constant flow of steam in contact with the coil to raise the temperature of the well effluent to prevent hydrate formation from plugging or restricting the flow and to improve separation and burner efficiency by reducing fluid viscosity and breaking down emulsions.
The Choke Manifold is the primary well pressure and flow control package used during both offshore and onshore well testing, frac flow-back, well clean-up and early production operations. The standard choke manifold has three flow paths through: • A fixed choke that provides accurate flow control for flow rate measurement under stable conditions • An adjustable choke used during well clean-up or drawdown operations until a stable flow condition has been achieved • A full-bore bypass that can be used when choking downstream at the heater or in open-flow conditions

The Spoolable Connector with one-piece design provides a robust, cost effective means of joining two sections of coil. They are available in both dimple-on and roll-on styles.
The Slip Type Connector is an external type connector that engages the outer diameter of the coil tubing. The slip ensures that axial load is transferred into the tubing, increasing the strength of the connector grip on the tubing.
The connector design provides an uninterrupted bore for drop ball operations while locking screws prevent the service connection backing off and the anti-rotation screws prevent the coil tubing rotating inside the connector once assembled.
The Slip Type Coil Connector comprises of a top and bottom-sub, which contains the slip and spacer ring. The dressed coil is simply stabbed into the connector and the bottom-sub rotated with an overpull applied to set the slip. Finally, the bottom-sub is made up and the lock and anti-rotation screws fitted.
The Roll-On Connector with one-piece design provides a robust, cost effective means of attaching a BHA to the coil. The one-piece design incorporates three O-ring grooves providing added security in high-pressure applications, while three crimping grooves give improved tensile strength. The connectors can be supplied with standard through-tubing tool joints or cut to suit customer requirements. The connector is reusable and furnished with standard O-rings making it extremely easy to redress in the field.
The WellGripp Connector grips and seals on the outer diameter of coiled tubing, enabling the attachment of tools for coiled tubing operations.
The connectors are designed to be stronger than the coiled tubing and with ease of assembly in mind. Thanks to the one-piece housing, fitting the connector to the dressed tubing reduces the make-up time and the short length makes it particularly suitable for tubing with a tight bend radius or large diameter. The in-situ test port permits O-ring integrity testing without filling the tubing, while the spiral design of the slip spreads the radial load produced by axial loading, resulting in a connector with greater strength than conventional connectors and improved operating parameters.
The WellGripp Connector consists of a housing and spiral slip. The tool is pushed onto the dressed coil and tapped with a soft hammer until it shoulders out. A small rotation is applied to the housing to bed the slip in and an overpull taken. O-rings within the bore of the housing provide a pressure seal and set screws prevent any movement of the housing or the slip relative to the coil.
The Dimple-On Connector is a one-piece design providing a robust, cost effective means of attaching a BHA to the coil.
The one-piece design incorporates two O-ring grooves providing added security in high-pressure applications. The Dimple-On Connector has superior mechanical strength comparable with tubing with the dimple design enabling torque-through capability.
Although the connectors are supplied with standard through-tubing tool joints, they can also be cut to suit customer requirements. The connector is reusable and furnished with standard O-rings making it extremely easy to redress in the field.
